Tour Guide Document

The Honour Plaîs Experience Guide is a co-branded tour training document developed for Honour Early Learning Childcare & Kindergarten and Plaîs Early Learning, two early learning brands owned and managed by property development company OneFin. Designed to support Centre Managers in delivering consistent, engaging centre tours, the guide functions as a key touchpoint in the parent journey, helping teams clearly communicate the brand experience and support confident enrolment conversations.

Role & Scope

Role: Training document design

Collaboration: Designed independently

Deliverables: Co-branded training document

The Challenge

The brief was open-ended and provided as a single Word document containing all written content in one continuous block. The challenge was to break this information into clear, purposeful sections that could be translated into an engaging, creative format. The outcome needed to inform Centre Managers while also encouraging meaningful engagement, reflecting the bespoke approach that defines both Honour and Plaîs not only in children’s education, but across internal processes as well.

Design Approach

The design approach began with three distinct design directions developed in collaboration with the Head of Marketing. Once the preferred direction was selected, see pages 5 and 6, the focus shifted to refining the concept through engaging, non-repetitive layouts. Subtle office-inspired elements and stationery motifs were used to signal the document’s role as an internal process tool, while maintaining a playful and approachable tone.

Outcome & Impact

The tour guide improved preparation and structure for Centre Managers, strengthening this critical stage of the enrolment process. By supporting more confident and consistent tours, the tour guide helped parents feel informed and reassured, contributing to successful enrolment decisions across Honour Early Learning and Plaîs Early Learning.
